His or her role will be to

• Develop a knowledge base in the fields of cultural and social knowledge, education and research and human rights., including the philanthropic activity of other bodies working in the same or similar fields

• Investigate potential funding opportunities identifying options for the Board to consider

• Identify sources of expert advice

• Assist in initiating and evaluating individual programmes, projects and grants

Skills required

• No specific area of expertise but a demonstrable interest in the preservation of social and cultural knowledge

• Post Doctorate research experience in an academic environment

• Networking skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including analytical report writing

• Self starter

• Energetic and inquiring


The job will be the equivalent of three days a week. Remuneration will be competitive, depending on experience.
