L’Institut suisse de droit comparé, institut autonome de la Confédération situé à Lausanne, met au concours, pour entrée au 1er novembre 2007 ou à convenir, le poste de collaborateur/trice scientifique responsable du droit belge et néerlandais. Ce poste conviendrait plus particulièrement à un/une juriste ayant terminé avec succès sa formation supérieure, possédant une licence d’une université belge ou néerlandaise et, si possible, ayant effectué tout ou une partie de ses études à l’étranger (au minimum juriste stagiaire) et/ou à un/une assistant(e) doctorant intéressé(e) par le droit étranger et le droit comparé. D’autre part, une expérience professionnelle comme avocat au tribunal, ou dans les administrations (également les organisations internationales) ou des entreprises privées, est un atout important. Le/la candidate devra être bilingue (néerlandais-français, oral et écrit). D’autres langues (anglais, allemand, espagnol, italien, etc.) constituent un avantage. Nous attachons une importance particulière à l’esprit de groupe, à l’initiative, à la disponibilité ainsi qu’au « sense of humour ». Nous offrons une activité attractive et variée au sein d’une équipe jeune et dynamique composée d’une douzaine de juristes spécialisés et d’une vingtaine de collaborateurs se partageant la gestion des 300'000 ouvrages de la bibliothèque, l’administration et le secrétariat. VACATURE
Het Zwitserse Instituut voor Rechtsvergelijking – een autonoom onderdeel van het Zwitserse Federale Ministerie van Justitie – verklaart de post van wetenschappelijk medewerker (m/v) voor Belgisch en Nederlands recht open met ingang van 1 november 2007 (of te bepalen in onderling overleg). Deze betrekking interesseert een jurist (m/v) die met succes zijn of haar rechtenopleiding heeft voltooid aan een Belgische of een Nederlandse Universiteit en die verkieslijk ook een deel van zijn of haar universitaire opleiding in het buitenland heeft genoten. De kandidaat, die blijk geeft van een bijzondere interesse voor de rechtsvergelijking, heeft een wetenschappelijke loopbaan achter de rug als universitair assistent of als doctorandus. Een bijkomende ervaring in een togaberoep (advocaat), in de publiekrechtelijke sector (eventueel in een internationale organisatie) of in de private sector strekt tot aanbeveling. De ideale kandidaat is tweetalig Nederlands-Frans (zowel gesproken als geschreven). Kennis van andere talen (Engels, Duits, Spaans, Italiaans, …) vormt een belangrijke troef. Het Instituut hecht daarenboven groot belang aan een vlotte samenwerking met de andere leden van het team. Verder is nodig dat de kandidaat zich flexibel opstelt, eigen initiatieven neemt en een (goed) gevoel voor humor heeft. Wij bieden een uitdagende en een gevarieerde job, waarbij de kandidaat deel zal uitmaken van een jong en een dynamisch team, samengesteld uit een twaalftal juristen en een twintigtal andere medewerkers, die instaan voor de administratie en het secretariaat en bovendien een bijzonder uitgebreide rechtsbibliotheek van ongeveer 300.000 titels op punt houden. Het Instituut bevindt zich op de campus van de Universiteit van Lausanne (Dorigny), aan de oevers van het meer van Genève. Loon- en arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn onderworpen aan de toepasselijke regelgeving van de Zwitserse Confederatie. POSITION OPENING
The Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, based in Lausanne, is an autonomous institute of the Swiss Confederation. The Institute is seeking a jurist to fill the position of scientific collaborator responsible for Belgian and Dutch law to begin work on or around 1 November 2007. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed studies in law, will hold a law degree from a Belgian or a Dutch University, and, if possible, will have completed all or part of his or her studies abroad (at minimum as a legal intern). The ideal candidate shall be interested by comparative law studies and shall have some experience as either a research / teaching assistant at the university level and / or as a doctoral student. Professional experience as a trial lawyer, in the public sector (including in international organisations) or in a private law firm is preferred. The successful candidate will be bilingual (Dutch-French, verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages (English, German, Spanish, Italian, etc…) is a plus. The successful candidate must have team spirit, a good sense of humour, an ability to take initiative and a willingness to be flexible. Scientific collaborators have the unique opportunity to work on interesting and varied projects with a young and dynamic team of twelve specialised jurists and twenty collaborators.
